It establishes a contentious and insecure work environment, which hinders women's participation in jobs. Looking further into this issue that has been deteriorating the capabilities of women the legislative came up with a strong law. The Indian legislature formulated the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013. Touching, asking for a sexual favour, grabbing, displaying offensive material and offensive comments come under Sexual harassment.
